1. Music
First up is music. I don't know why either. I adore music because it is an outlet into the world. Having a crummy day? Turn on some sick, tasty jams! Driving in the car? Get that tune going! Music is great because you can really listen to the words and get lost in a story... that you don't have to read! You can also listen to the background noise.I also love music because of band class. When I play my saxophone to a tasty tune it just sounds heavenly. Or when i play a tune on piano or ukulele and I sing its like Halloween, kind of. Your voice is going up and down, saying words that you probably wouldn't form yourself. It's putting a tune into you.
I really adore Celtic or alternative. My favorite band is Skyhill.
2. drawing and Writing
Second in my favorites list is drawing and writing. I mostly get my best drawing ideas sitting in boring homeroom. Most of my writing ideas, get this, come late at night, when I'm about to go to bed, or early in the morning before I am properly awake. The drawings are normally not serious and usually slightly funny at first glance. The stories are normally very serious and have a very meaningful theme behind them. In my locker I have many drawings. They range from a brave little girl to two of my favorite video game characters. One picture I am most proud of is actually really silly (above) is about two elephants who work under the King of elephants. They realize that their lives are going nowhere. The male (right) realizes that he is never going to get out of his guard job protecting the king. (At least he is eating healthy fruits.) The female (left) realizes that she will never find a lover. (She randomly picked a flower.) They are the only ones at the table and they don't realize that if they got into a relationship their lives would be perfectly fine. The girl would have someone to love, and the guy would have a reason to stay at his job. Now that I realize it it is kind of serious. Oh well.
3. Travel
Third on the list is travel. I have never been anywhere out of America, and I would really love to visit Ireland, Japan, London, and Italy. I am a dreamer, I know. And it's not just travel, I want to experience things. I would love to go to one of those Celtic festivals where everyone is kind and the music is flowing and everyone is happy. I want to go to Japan to experience the food and the bustling streets and all of the shops that focus on one show or anime. London because of the rain and all of the different types of accents. Italy because, come on, who wouldn't want to taste all of that pasta? I just want something else. I want change, and where I am right now isn't satisfying my needs. Also, surprisingly, I don't want to go to Florida or the Caribbean or any island. That is too touristy and I want a unique experience.
